My Review: Wow… Die for Me was amazing! The story begins following archaeologist Sophie Johannsen as she helps homicide detectives Vito Ciccotelli and Nick Lawrence solve a brutal murder. When Sophie arrives on scene with her state-of-the art equipment, their one victim turns into a handful as they continue to dig up bodies.
Instantly, Vito is drawn to Sophie and the two have a rocky start. It’s great to see them work together on the case and dig deeper into the murderer’s scheme and each other’s lives. What they find in the end is unbelievable.
Die for Me is an amazing audiobook. Karen Rose has written a suspenseful story line that kept me mesmerized and asking what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the surprises along the way and how everything worked together to create one hell of a mystery.
Narrator Review: Tavia Gilbert is awesome! There are so many characters in this audiobook and she did each of them perfectly and never faltered. For me, her shining moments in Die for Me were the sobbing and crying scenes that she performed amazingly. Tavia’s narration put the icing on the cake for this one!
