My Review: Eleven on Top is yet another wonderful novel in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. Stephanie, a former lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter, is at her crazy antics again. She’s decided after too many near death experiences that she’s done bounty hunting and she really just wants her life to be normal and quiet.
As you guessed, that will never happen! Trouble seems to follow Stephanie everywhere she goes, regardless if she’s an active bounty hunter or not. She’s dreading the upcoming wedding of her sister Valerie and her fiancee Albert Kloughn and has had some commitment issues in her eggplant purple maid of honor dress. She knows the wedding will be a disaster and boy is she ever right!
As usual, Stephanie blows up more than one car in this novel; it wouldn’t be right if she didnt! That’s her trademark! The trouble is, who’s planting bombs in her cars? She even gets a “present” delivered through the drive-thru at Cluck in a Bucket that burns down the chicken joint.
Since Stephanie’s out of the bounty hunting business, she’s taken a desk job working for Ranger. Oh, yes, Captain hotness himself. She’s helping him run security checks and dig up background information on FTAs and whatnot. It’s a safe job… almost.
This is just another great audiobook by Janet Evanovich. I’ve spent all of my free time this weekend listening and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I have caught myself laughing out loud more times than ever before. Her dialogue is amazing and the personalities of the characters are so dynamic. I love, love, love this series!
Narrator Review: Lorelei King never disappoints and as I’ve said before, she’s amazing! She gives each character distinct voices and changes between them seamlessly. When she starts the audiobook, I’m completely yanked away from reality and thrown into Stephanie’s life.

I enjoy your reviews of this series. This is the first review of the audiobook version of this one (number eleven) that I’ve run into. It looks like Lorelei King continues to do well with the narration. No shock there as she is very good.

Thanks Jeff. I’m so addicted to this series. John said I was “a machine” the other night when I told him I was writing this review. I’m blazing through these audiobooks but I just love them so much! I can’t get enough Stephanie Plum!
