My Review: Best Friends, Occasional Enemies was a cute, quirky audiobook. This was an easy listen and quite humorous.
Don’t be disappointed that there’s not a story line, you’ll hear a ton of fun stories and ramblings from both Lisa and Francesca. Among a bunch of funnies, Lisa battles with her elliptical and working out and Francesca deals with rodents and a creepy exterminator. They also talk about each other’s quirks, which are hilarious
We all have crazy people in our lives and my mother is one of them in mine. She’s a nut! My mom worries constantly, drives people insane and would do anything to make her kids happy. (Well almost anything, she still won’t buy me an iPad.) So when my Dad or my husband comment that I’m “just like my mother” I have to think… Okay, is this a good thing or a bad thing? (FYI, usually it’s a bad thing!)
This mother/daughter team is hilarious and I enjoyed their great stories.
Narrator Review: As always, I’m leery when an author narrates their own audiobook but both Lisa and Francesca did a good job. I think Lisa had a little more emotion and fun in her voice, so I enjoyed her a bit more.
Disclosure: I received a copy of this audiobook from the publisher.
